INTRODUCTION
Nowadays Technology is improved a lot and people have become most advanced now and even these days small kids can also do net banking. Some of them are using this technology for good purposes and bad purposes. Also, there are some people who do bad things and steal the data of others are called Hackers. But we thought that hackers are only bad persons but your thoughts are wrong there are some good hackers as well as bad hackers that are defined below: 1) White Hat Hackers 2) Black Hat Hackers 3) Grey Hat Hackers 4) Script Kiddies 5) Hacktivist 6) Blue Hat Hackers 7) Red Hat Hackers 8) Green Hat Hackers 9) Malicious Hackers 10) Suicide Hackers Now we can take a look at these hackers: 1. WHITE HAT HACKERS A white-hat hacker is also called Ethical Hacker. These hackers are good hackers they will not do any malicious things or any bad things. Many business companies and many large-scale organizations hire this type of hacker for their business security purpose. These types of hackers will do deep scans to remove malware from their networks and they play social engineering tricks towards the employees and make them click the malicious links. They also work for the Red team. These hackers will detect malicious things in the websites or in any business organizations before the black hat hackers will use them for any wrong purposes. And they get a good reputation by performing deep scans. 2. BLACK HAT HACKERS These types of hackers will do many spine-chilling things on the internet. They do many crazy things like data breaches, malicious scans, hacking other people’s systems, and entering into their systems, etc…we should be aware of these types of hackers. In simple words, we can say that they are totally opposite to white hat hackers. They break the security of people’s systems and steal their personal information like stealing passwords, stealing bank information like credit cards and debit cards, and so on…crazy things. They are specialists in phishing and social engineering & They are the most wanted hackers for cyber police. 3. GREY HAT HACKERS The grey hat hackers will hack for fun purposes. They act as the black hat and as well as white hat hackers. They will enter into people systems by breaking the securities and they search for vulnerabilities in the system and exploit them but sometimes they will report to the owner and ask for bounty. These types of hackers are not harmful when compared to black hat hackers they just do the hacking for getting fun. If it fails they can feel that they should learn something more if it gets success they’ll have fun. 4. SCRIPT KIDDIES We cannot call the script kiddies hackers. They are not much talented they copy the ideas of others blindly and they don’t know if it will succeed or fail. They use the tools and scripts from advanced hackers. Script kiddies are also called unskilled hackers. They are not harmful to society. But we should remember that most talented hackers are also evolved from the script kiddies. We should not treat them as useless. 5. HACKTIVISTS Hacktivists are also the most dangerous hackers they hack government websites and the hacktivists are groups of members or individual members. They propose themselves as hacktivists to the world to know about themselves. They mostly target government websites and political leaders’ activities. And they hack the government websites and gain sensitive data access. 6. BLUE HAT HACKERS The blue hat hackers are almost similar to white hat hackers. Companies will invite them to find vulnerabilities to the unreleased software or any product after the testing is done it will release its product into the market. Blue hat hackers are also called defense hackers. Some companies want to test their security level so they call red hat hackers against the blue hat hackers. They do the aggressive scans against the company and the blue team should defend against the attacks of the red team. 7. RED HAT HACKERS Red hat hackers are very skillful hackers. They protect us from the black hat hackers, they deploy many attacks against the black hat hackers but the way they stop the black hat hackers is illegal in nature. And the main motive and objective are to stop the black hat hackers and do aggressive scans towards the bad guy’s servers totally closed and destroy their whole systems. 8. GREEN HAT HACKERS Green hat hackers are similar to the script kiddies. But both do not belong to the same category of hackers there is some little difference is there. The script kiddies will simply find shortcuts, but the green hat hackers want to learn new skills, want to do more hard work, etc….. Green hats will not encourage any shortcuts to do work simply, they learn something new and try to improve their skills by taking any courses. 9. MALICIOUS HACKERS Malicious hackers are one of the most wanted and dangerous hackers. They infect our systems or mobiles by various methods like RAT(remote access trojans), BY INSTALLING APK APPS, BY SENDING INFECTED LINKS, RANSOMWARE ATTACKS, etc… they are very intelligent hackers. They also know the anti-forensics by that we could not find any evidence about the malicious attack on our system. Many people are suffered a lot due to these hackers, they collect our sensitive information and demand money from us. So we should not download any apps or software from unknown sources. 10. SUICIDE HACKERS Suicide hackers are one of the darest hackers in the world. They have many skills but they do not utilize their skills for good purpose. They come under the category of illegal hackers, by seeing the name we can say that, they will not care about themselves.
