In this article, we’ll be going to solve the termux repository under maintenance error:
Follow the below steps to solve this issue:
Step 1:
Open your termux app, type the following command & press enter.
termux-change-repo
Step 2:
Now you’ll see a pop-up window as in the following picture. You just need to select the Science Repository & click Ok.
Step 3:
Now, you’ll get another screen as in the below picture in which you have to switch from the official repository to the Mirrors by Grimler & click Ok.
Even after doing these steps, termux will auto-update but yet the issue will not be resolved. You have to upgrade it manually using the following command :
apt upgrade
After, using the above command, you’ll get the following screen as shown in the picture. Type Y & press enter to upgrade
Meanwhile upgrading, you need to type N several times whenever you get the following screen as following picture & press enter to finish upgrading.
Step 4:
Now, you can update your termux.
apt update
Finally, Termux packages will get updated and you wouldn’t see any errors.
